Hello Everybody,

This is just a reminder about the joint meeting with Design 
Engineering TC (DETC).
As you remember from Reno, this joint meeting is going to take place in
Atlanta at the SDM conference.  The time of this meeting is 5:30 p.m. on 
Monday April 3.   I think it should not take more than 1 hour or 1.5 hour.
I shall inform about the exact place later.

The purpose of the meeting will be to make each of the TC aware of 
the purpose and activities of the other TC and to talk about possible
joint activities (like, for example, joint panel or paper sessions).

A reminder.  DETC consists of the guys who are doing actual design.
And, as many of you know, these guys have some what vague idea 
about optimization. So, it will be advantageous for us to try to 
introduce optimization into the minds of the designers.

So far the following MDO TC members expressed interest in
attending this joint meeting (if I am not mistaken):

Vladimir Balabanov
Evin Cramer
Jeff  Finckenor
Zafer Gurdal
Achille Messac

However, I "politely ask" all MDO TC members who will be at 
the SDM to attend this joint meeting.
