<html> <body> This is my second request for info for the 2005 MDO Year-In-Review article (<b>due to me by Aug. 1</b>)...thanks to those of you that have already given me info!<br> -Tim<br><br> <br> <x-tab> </x-tab>My original request from 19 June 2005 follows:<br><br> It is time again to start preparing the 2005 Year-In-Review article for <i>Aerospace America</i> (see p. 34 of the Dec. 2004 issue for last year's article). As you put together your abstracts for the <i>2nd AIAA Multidisciplinary Design Optimization Specialist Conference</i>, which are due 16 August 2005, please consider sending me a <b>BRIEF</b> summary of your work via email. <br><br> I am limited to 600 words TOTAL. So, if 20 people submit something (a low estimate), that is only <b>30 WORDS</b> per person. Send at most <b>1-2 SENTENCES</b> summarizing your contributions this year to me via email. <b><i>Please DO NOT send your extended abstracts, long dialogues, or entire papers</i></b>. If they are too long, I will return them, asking for a more concise statement. <br><br> <b>ILLUSTRATION</b>: We can also include 1-2 illustrations relevant to MDO in the article. If you have a high quality photograph (preferred) or graphic pertaining to your work, please consider sending me a copy via email for the article.<br><br> <b>DEADLINE:</b> I need ALL submissions by <b>AUGUST 1st</b> as the deadline for the article is early this year. After this date, submissions will most likely not be used. I will send out an email reminder in mid-July.<br><br> I apologize for any duplicate emails.
