AIAA MDO TC members:
As Technical Chair for MA&O for the 11th AIAA/ISSMO Conference on
Multidisciplinary Analysis and Optimization,I am encouraging all AIAA
MDO TC members to volunteer to serve as reviewers of the abstracts
for this flagship conference of the MDO TC. Abstracts for this
conference are categorized into 4 major Tracks, each co-lead by
someone from the MDO community and someone from the Modeling &
Simulation community. These Tracks, and the MDO Track Leaders, are
Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Methods
This track addresses methodologies for modeling individual components
(disciplines or subsystems), so that they are suitable for use in
large-scale modeling, simulation, analysis, and optimization
applications.
Tony Giunta , Sandia National Laboratories
(505) 844-4280
aagiunt@sandia.gov
Integration Methods
Papers for this topic should address the engineering, mathematical,
computer science, software, and human factor challenges of producing
useful integrated analysis models from component models of individual
disciplines or subsystems.
Ray Kolonay, Air Force Research Laboratory
(937) 255-4875
Raymond.Kolonay@wpafb.af.mil
Optimization Methods
The focus is on formal algorithms for continuous, discrete, and mixed
optimization and on heuristic strategies for exploring the design
space.
Eliot WIner, Iowa State University
(515) 294-1640
ewiner@iastate.edu
Applications
This track is devoted to application of MDO and M&S techniques to
challenging multidisciplinary applications.
Jamshid Samareh, NASA Langley Research Center
(757) 864-5776
Jamshid.A.Samareh@nasa.gov
Details on the conference are available at the conference website
http://www.aiaa.org/content.cfm?ResetTracking=1&loadview=110&viewcon=submit&pageid=230&lumeetingid=1384
Abstracts are due by 27 January 2006, and reviews of the abstracts
will need to be completed before the end of February.
If you are willing to serve as a reviewer for one or more Tracks,
please notify the Track Leader(s) and myself.
